we've been
waiting for a snow day. it hasn't really dumped all winter. we got a couple inches in the valley on sunday so we jumped at the opportunity to play in our backyard before it melted. we were so excited for leila to play outside that we skipped breakfast and put on our snow clothes first. glad we were finally able to bust out the snowsuit and boots we bought leila earlier this year.
it was leila's first time playing in the snow, at first she was a little unsure and confused as to why she was bundled up so much. but she soon realized it was fun and didn't even try to take off her beanie and "mittens" (we don't have any so she's just wearing my fuzzy socks secured with an elastic around her wrists). she enjoyed eating it too.
